My day in Venice didn't end after the assignment! Fate had an unexpected twist for me as I stumbled upon a lively chess match happening in a charming corner of the city.
Little did I know, I was about to make a new friend: met a talented young Israeli chess enthusiast, and we decided to spend the afternoon engaged in intense battles :D
It's incredible how a little game can bridge cultures and create lasting connections. We exchanged stories, laughs, and even a few chess tips.
This is the 10.000.000 remainder that no matter where we come from, our shared love for exploration, learning, and connection can create beautiful moments that transcend borders!

Today, I happened to pass by a magnificent library dedicated to Karl Marx and was disheartened to discover that it is now available for rent or sale. It saddens me to witness one of the emblematic institutions of socialist Germany take this path. I earnestly hope that future generations gain a deeper understanding of the essence of socialism and its aspiration to forge an alternative world to the realm of unrestrained capitalism. The world has undergone significant transformations, as have we all, and Berlin is evolving, yet I yearn for a stronger connection to our recent history.

Astronauta significa "navigatore delle stelle e dei pianeti…", mentre Cosmonauta significa "navigatore dell'universo". Il primo termine era proprio del mondo capitalista, mentre Cosmonauta era il termine usato nel blocco Sovietico.
Quando torno a Berlino mi piace perdermi nei quartieri dell' est (Marzahn il mio preferito), e lasciarmi trsportare dall' "Ostalgia" di un mondo mai conosciuto.
